John Tarpoff DC, CSCS
bio-Tarpoff

Dr. Tarpoff has earned two bachelor degrees — one from Logan University and the other from Texas A&M. He went on to earn a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine at Logan College of Chiropractic and a Masters Degree in Sport’s Science and Rehabilitation from Logan University.

His post-graduate training has been enriched by experience in Building the Ultimate Back with Dr. Stu McGill as well as achieving licenses in both Motion Palpation Technique and Active Release Techniques. Dr. Tarpoff is licensed through the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. In addition, he has participated in two internships with the Logan College of Chiropractic.

Dr. Tarpoff's early business experience was with Tarpoff Packing Co., a family business. During that time he also played professional rugby with USA Rugby's National Men's Team. His first chiropractic position was at the Biofreeze Sports Rehabilitation Center at the Logan College of Chiropractic. Prior to joining Alamo Healthcare, Dr. Tarpoff operated his own practice, Tarpoff Chiropractic.

Dr. Tarpoff has been honored with several academic and athletic awards such as the Fred McKintyre Student Athlete Award and Cum Laude graduate distinction at Texas A&M. Last year, he was awarded the Dr. Al Chamberlain Student Doctor Award.

Dr. Tarpoff is a recent addition to the Alamo Healthcare team.
