 Dr. Yanko Yankov received his medical education from the Medical Academy in Bulgaria, and completed his residency in Neurology at the Medical Academy. His PhD thesis was, “Carrier Detection in Duchenne and Becker Muscular Dystrophies.” Dr. Yankov was a visiting physician at Saint-Vincent de Paul Hospital in Paris. His American postgraduate education was completed at the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Fellowship in Epilepsy and Sleep. He also completed his neurology residency at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Dr. Yankov has been with Alamo Healthcare Systems since 2000.
